So, who is coming on this trip with me? My dear friend Mand has been coerced to be my partner in crime. A girl from the country, a seasoned camper and someone who has the ability to create a meal out of nothing - I think I have chosen well.
However, Mand and I are like chalk and cheese - I plan, Mand flies by the seat of her pants; I take everything as read, Mand thinks everything is up for negotiation; I like one to one conversations, Mand works a crowd. Still, we've know each other for a few years now, and we are still friends - and occasionally we agree on something - like having another wine or going out for a cup of tea (COTs).
And the new girl on the trip? Meet Lizzy - our VW Campervan for the week, courtesy of Campers Away.
Well, she is hardly a new girl, but she is new to me and Mand, and in her we hope she will take us around Devon and Dorset and be our refuge at Camp Bestival.
